Police Officers Had Sex With Each Other In Swansea Police Station, Claims Sacked Officer

By pure coincidence, after writing the previous post HERE about the sacked Swansea Police Officer, Rhodri Davies, the same person has been in the news again.  Having been dismissed from the police force on a charge of gross misconduct after being found guilty of using excessive force during the arrest of an autistic man in 2022, Davies has now successfully sued South Wales Police for victimising him in the investigation that led to his sacking.  Davies brought an employment tribunal claim against the force, claiming he was victimised because he previously brought a grievance against the force for suspending him after he was accused of sexual misconduct - a charge of which he was subsequently cleared, and for which he received a compensation payment.  One of the investigating officers in the sexual misconduct probe - D.C.I. Emma Jones, who had been heavily criticised by Mr. Davies in his original grievance - was later involved in the investigation into him striking the detainee, which the tribunal found indicated a "clear conflict of interest".  It transpired that Sergeant Davies had spent seven and a half of the last ten years of his policing career either suspended or on restricted duties, about which Norman Brennan of police support group 'Protect the Protectors' said: "A good man has had his career and life destroyed."  Court documents from Davies's original tribunal claim in 2020 show that he alleged that two senior male police officers had had sex with two female officers at Swansea Police Station, returning there to conduct their antics after a night out.  Apparently, there was a "verbal telling-off" of the officers concerned, and the two male officers were moved as a punishment, although no formal charges were laid, and the incident was largely brushed under the carpet in order to avoid yet-more embarrassment to the police.  Davies himself was accused by four female police constables of making "sexual and inappropriate comments" in a WhatsApp chat group, and he was also alleged to have "kissed a female officer on the lips" in an unwanted advance at a Christmas party.  Davies strongly denied any sexual misconduct, claiming he was victimised for being a White, heterosexual male, and that females who behaved similarly had faced no sanctions.  It is difficult to know what to make of all these shenanigans, as it seems to be a case of accusations and counter-accusations, and it's impossible for someone on the outside to know who is lying and who (if anyone) is telling the truth.  One thing, however, seems certain, and that is that South Wales Police - particularly the Swansea branch thereof - is riddled with corruption, degeneracy, and a cabal of psychologically- and physically-abusive officers.  More on these matters can be read HERE and HERE.  I am able to read these articles, but if you find they are behind a paywall, try viewing them on the Brave browser.

South Wales Police Sergeant Fired For Hitting Autistic Man

This post is a follow-up to the previous post, where autistic man Tariq Evans was beaten up by P.C. Jack Williams in a police van in Swansea on October 24th, 2022, resulting in Williams receiving a 12-week prison sentence.  Having suffered the indignity of being smashed seven times in the head by a thug masquerading as a policeman (or are they basically the same thing?), Evans was then dragged into Swansea Central Police Station, where he encountered the duty custody officer, Rhodri Davies, aged 45.  Sergeant Davies - despite Evans posing no threat of violence, as he was handcuffed - pulled Evans to the ground, swore at him, and then punched him as he lay helpless on the floor of the custody suite.  Evans was then taken to a cell by a group of officers, where Davies continued his assault on him, by using a "dangerous restraint" on his neck and kneeing the victim several times.  Sergeant Davies, a former boxer (a sport, if you can call it that, notorious for its association with thuggery and criminality) was also said to have used "inappropriate" language in relation to Mr. Evans, including calling him a "fucking prick".  On January 17th, 2025, after a two-week misconduct hearing in Bridgend, panel chairman Christopher McKay said, "There was no justification for Sergeant Davies's actions, which were intentional and deplorable."  The panel found that Davies's actions in the custody suite amounted to gross misconduct, while his later actions in the cell were misconduct, but overall his behaviour was deemed to be gross misconduct.  After nearly twenty years working for South Wales Police, the "popular" (With whom? His own bent colleagues?!) sergeant Rhodri Davies was sacked from his job.  More on the case HERE.
